Summer is upon us: time for reflection for EuroScientist readers

Dear Readers,

We have reached this time of the year again when people start to unwind and tackle the activities on their ‘to do’ list that have been put on the long finger until now. In other words: summer is here!

As part of this transition period, we invite you to take a step back and conduct a personal reflection, combined with some introspection, about your day-to-day lives. Once this has been done, we would like to invite you to get back to us with some suggestions concerning what you would like to read in EuroScientist in the future.

We also have a readers’ survey still open for a few weeks, during the summer period. It would help us tremendously if you could fill it in; it won’t even take 10 minutes.

We would like to remind you that EuroScientist is a participatory magazine. It needs your contributions to live up to its motto: ‘European science conversations by the community, for the community.’

So don’t be shy, get in touch, via editor[at]euroscientist.com to send us your suggestions about opinion pieces. Alternatively, feel free to post comments on our content, at the bottom of each individual article.

We will be back in September with lots of exciting quality articles! We are also preparing a special issue on evidence-base policies and the art of providing scientific advice.

And we have many more surprises lined up for October, as we are planning to share the views of key opinion leaders about how science and innovation fit in with emerging alternative economic models to secure greater sustainability in Europe.

So watch this space and don’t forget to share our content on social media within your circles. Help us provide you with even greater content by engaging with us! Why? Because we do care about you.

Have an incredible summer!

The EuroScientist team
