Dear Reader,
We hope the summer gave you time for reflection and that you had an opportunity to disconnect and unplug for a while.
Welcome to this newly redesigned version of EuroScientist! It reflects the work of our newly strengthened team. We have recently welcomed on board a new web guru, Grégoire, and a new communication and community expert, Alexia. Both will help improve the EuroScientist magazine so that it best serves our community.
We are looking forward to an exciting few months ahead.
Already, there is an early indication that scientists’ protest movements are being prepared in several countries around Europe in the coming weeks. What is really new is that there is an unprecedented level of coordination between these movements at European level, showing that the internet era is changing the way science activism is shaping up. Please stay tuned, we will bring you the latest analysis on these developments in the coming weeks. And remember, your heard it first at EuroScientist!
What is more, you will hear from Responsible Research and Innovation (RRI), as the second part of our sponsored special issue is due out by the end of the month. We will explore all aspects of RRI and give you an analysis of the implications of the development of RRI.
Now, more than ever, we would like to hear from you. Do get in touch, and share your thoughts, your concerns and your future projects. There is only one email address: editor[at]euroscientist.com. We would love to hear your stories.
We hope that you will have a great productive year ahead!
Keep watching EuroScientist and sharing its content around within your networks.
Yours devoted,
The EuroScientist Team
