Dr. Vasiliki Michopoulou is an award winning journalist-science writer, press and communication specialist and member of the International Science Writers Association (ISWA) born and based in Athens, Greece. She holds a PhD in International relations with a scholarship from Stavros Niarchos Foundation, a Master of Arts on Policy Management and International Politics from the Department of Political Sciences and International Relations, University of Peloponnese and a Bachelor degree in Biology from the School of Sciences of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. She is an Academic member/Ambassador of The Communication Institute of Greece, while she contributes also as a Teaching Fellow and Instructor at the School of Journalism and Mass Communications, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece, teaching Science Journalism at a graduate level and as a Public Information Officer for Greek Labs.
